How it works
The practitioner lifecycle
Creating an account does not make you Tattoo Safe Registered. A first qualifying pass creates one permanent registration number. Directory profiles and annual refresher purchase are not live yet.

Complete training
Assigned Infection Prevention & Control Level 2 training can be completed in the practitioner application.

Pass assessment
Take the official assessment in the practitioner application after you have course access.

Become Tattoo Safe Registered
A first qualifying pass creates one permanent Tattoo Safe registration number. Creating an account is not registration.

Complete annual refresher
Refresher training is intended to keep status Current. Refresher purchase is not live yet.
Your Tattoo Safe identity
One practitioner. One permanent registration. Multiple historical training records.
The example number TS-138492 is permanent when issued. Training status moves Current → Refresher Due → Current after refresher. TSC-2026-839271 is an individual training completion, not a second identity.
The practitioner owns their identity even when they are later linked to studios. Directory participation is optional and separate from certificate verification.
