Scope
What Tattoo Safe does
Tattoo Safe provides tattoo-specific infection prevention education, a permanent registration identity and a public verification service. It is independent. It is not a statutory regulator and does not replace council licensing.

How we work
Honest
Account creation is not registration. Features that are not live are labelled as planned.
Verifiable
Credentials are designed to be checked against the live record, not a copied badge.
Education
CPD Accredited education
The launch course is CPD Accredited Infection Prevention & Control Level 2 for tattoo practitioners. Public wording is CPD Accredited. Tattoo Safe does not name an accreditor in consumer-facing copy.

What Tattoo Safe is not
Clear boundaries
Tattoo Safe does not inspect premises, issue local authority licences, or treat a studio listing as an accreditation of the premises. Directory listing is optional. Certificate verification is intended to remain available even when a practitioner is not listed publicly.
